On Tuesday 5th September 2023 the clubs annual Social night was held where the idea is not about serious snooker but more about serious Fun, some pizza and maybe a drink or two in good company.
The roll up turned out to be a healthy 20 or so. The Club Captain organised the evening very efficiently. The competition consists of doubles with a difference, the difference being competitors play with different partners in each round.
There are a number of rules that are not the norm and it would take some time to explain, probably the best way would be for members to come along. For a start barracking is allowed!
After several rounds, plus pizza and drinks the finalists (individuals Darian Ward and Norb Stampfer) ended in a draw. How the winner was decided cannot be divulged but Congratulations to Norb who got the nod.
