The Champion of Champions annual competition was held over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd December with 10 members taking part.
The players are all winners of a competition during the previous 12 months. The format is a ‘Round Robin’ and the winner of Saturdays ‘Pool’ of players plays the winner of Sundays Round Robin in a 5 frame final.
The finalists were Norb Stampfer (Saturday’s winner) and Judith Swanson (Sunday’s winner).
At two fames each and after some long and very close games the final frame went down to the Black ball with Norb being the winner.
Congratulations to both players, it cannot get any closer than being down to the Black in the final frame.
