The final of the BB&SC Intermediate Snooker was held on Sat. 19 July, played as a best of 5 frames competition between Steve Westby and Judith Swanson.
The match wasn’t quite as one sided as result might suggest. Steve put a lot of emphasis on playing safe while scoring the big points and won both the first and second frames.
Judith had some good opportunities particularly in Frame 2, but missed a few shots which she normally wouldn’t.
In Frame 3 Steve didn’t give anything away and was in control from start including a few breaks in the low 10’s. So, with
only the pink and black balls left on the table and trailing by 32 points, Judith conceded with Steve Westby 3 vs Judith Swanston 0.
