Competition

Internal competitions are held throughout the year in Snooker and Billiards.  Some are Graded, whilst others are Open or Handicapped.

The Chadwick Shield is the perpetual trophy for our major open competition the A grade snooker champion which is played each year.  This was donated by William Chadwick , father of Ken Chadwick, the very first treasurer of the club.

The club’s major handicap competition is the Crosby Shield.  This perpetual trophy for snooker was donated by Vince Crosby and is presented each year in recognition of his contribution to the development of the club.

Apart from these, competitions in billiards and snooker are held throughout the year for players in three grades – A Grade, Intermediate and B Grade.
