This competition has been completed for this year with our Team, the Buderim Pros – Dave Armstrong, Mike Naray and Jeff Pickering – finishing second after the completion of the 14 week home and away matches.
The knockout finals were then played with the following results:
Major Semi Final: Redlands Tigers defeated Buderim Pros 3-2 at Redlands
Preliminary Final: Buderim Pros defeated Sherwood Phoenix 4-2 at Buderim
Grand Final Redlands: Tigers defeated Buderim Pros 6-0 at Redlands.
Finishing second overall was a creditable result for our club as we have not competed in this competition for many years.
Congratulations should go to Redlands Tigers, who finished the home and away season in a clear first place, losing only one match, and winning both their finals matches.
