To date we have had three of our scheduled club snooker/ billiards competitions.
The first was the three grades of billiards. A Grade Open was won by Jeff Pickering. The Intermediate and B Grades were both taken out by our up and coming junior schoolboy of only thirteen years, Joshua Thrift. He is most definitely a young lad who is destined to make his mark in the sport.
Next was the Brian and Keith Bowser Doubles competition. This was won by another newcomer Alan McDonald, and one of our lady players Judith Swanson.
Currently, we have the club open snooker in all three grades running, which will be followed by the Crosby Shield Handicap snooker competition. Entries for this will close on Friday 8 June.
