As members would.know, our tables have recently been refurbished with new cloths installed. Unfortunately, a few players are failing to observe some basic praciices for ensuring that our new cloths remain in top condition. There are several procedures that need to be followed in order to avoid unnecessary damage:
- don’t ‘bounce’ balls on the table when setting up or re-spotting a potted ball
- roll colours onto their spot rather than placing them directly on the spot
- when doing a coin toss avoid allowing the coin to fall onto the cloth (especially with large coins)
if if we can all follow these few simple procedures then our tables will stay in first-class condition for all to enjoy.
